QDROs
Pension Plans, whether public or private, although similar in many respects may require vastly different language when drafting a QDRO or may be interpreted differently when completing a state plan order. At ABE we have years of experience and are credentialed when it comes to knowing the nuances of pension plans. We can flesh out and address issues that can easily be overlooked.

At ABE we have the experience you need when seeking the present value of retirement benefits. ABE began as an actuarial firm specializing in Pension Plan design, administration, communication and valuation for corporate clients. As a result, our staff understands the many nuances of deriving a present value of a Participant’s pension benefits. Anybody can say they are an expert; at ABE we have the credentials to back up that claim.
Have us review the results of an evaluation provided by opposing council. At ABE you can trust us to give a non-biased review of the values derived by their evaluator. Our software and expertise allow us to reproduce the numbers and give insight into how the evaluator developed their present value while comparing their results to what our systems would produce.

You Provide the Necessary Info
Fax, mail or email the necessary benefit statements, Participant/Alternate Payee information and the marital period for determining the marital value of a benefit.
We calculate the present value
Upon receiving the information and fee, ABE will determine the present value of the marital portion of the benefit based on the statements provided and consistent with the language of the judgement entry outlining the pension benfits to be assigned.
